Jeffry "libel, what libel?" ArcherÂ’s new jail mates give him the welcome he deserves Â…
Â… by kneeing him in the goolies and pelting him with prison-issue vindaloo.

Poor Jeffry, it just hasn't been his week, has it? Just having a champagne party with friends, as convicts do, and suddenly he finds himself moved from North Sea Camp open prison to catagory B Lincon Jail. And then, if being prevented from driving his BMW and drinking champers wasn't enough, some of those rotten convicts take umbrage with him grassing up prison drug dealers. Can't the fools see it was necessary for him to get the cream cakes? And curry, how common! CouldnÂ’t they have managed some minor gourmet at the very least? Dammit, this just wouldn't have happened under a Tory government - they know how to treat such upstanding citizens (by making them Mayor of London for one).
With this, and Major waking up with rotten egg in the face, the week's just getting better and better!

Damn, what a waste of energy and food! (even if the vindaloo was prison issue) But still, it makes for a cool news story!

I have no sympathy for him. He did wrong, got caught and got punished. He's just upset he's not being given special treatment, because he thinks he's important. What annoys me is the diary he's writing, and the fact that it's going to be published. It is against Home Office rules for a prisoner to publish anything that identifies other prisoners, staff or officers which is exactly what's happeneing. Any ordinary prisoner would be punished further for this, yet Archer thinks he's above the rules. Again. I really, really hope he's penalised for this the same way any other prisoner would be.
Posted: 15:52 Oct 06 2002 I can relate to that. The front pages of several tabloids (No prizes for guessing which one they are...) keep showing quotes from these so-called "diaries" which are always specifically chosen to try and raise sympathy for the filthy, lying little worm.
