People break up for all sorts of reasons. Exes may not want to be with you any more, but it doesn't mean they can't still see what they liked about you in the first place.

I have just had a thought. The only people who don't seem to understand why you are single seem to be exes. The thing is if it is so hard for them to understand that then why don't they go out with you as something must be wrong for the break up to have happened.

Maybe exes feel obliged to say that they can't understand why you are single as a means of validating the fact that they went out with you - or am I being too cynical here.

no matter what happened between us I still like him .. love him even as a friend and I know he still feels the same way, he worrys about me and what is going on in my life now , and I think thats the whole point of ex's. Ones that actually mattered will care and worry about you in the future.
