Well it's the 2nd leg at Ewood Park and Blackburn are losing 1-0 and now need to score 3 to qualify due to the away goals
The prognosis aint looking good

As far as I know the chairmen of the Premiership clubs voted not to invite the Old Firm into the league. However the Old Firm are thinking of taking them to European Courts for Restriction Of Trade(not quite sure how that'll work though). Also 3 Dutch clubs are currently trying to get into the Bungdeslegia (German 1st Division) and if they succeed then the Old Firm will be able to use that precedent to get into the Premiership.

What's the story with the campaign? I don't really know much about it, but Kenny Dalgleish was going on about it's never gonna happen until we get legislation changed. What's that all about?
Not going to happen. For some time UEFA has wanted a UKFA, reducing four votes to one. Hence all the talk of a UK national football team (they must love Ryan Giggs). And if Celtic and the Hun are allowed to play south of the border than UEFA will use it as an excuse to force a merger on us. For this reason I suspect the Dutch clubs will be rejected as there is no way the German and Dutch FAs will merge, and if they allow them to do it then they can't use that excuse on us. As for the number of Welsh clubs in the English league (as well as Cardiff there is Wrexham and Swansea, that I can think of), they have always played in the English League, so there is no movement involved. They can't force the Welsh clubs to leave (although there have been a number of attempts to force them to leave and join the Welsh league), and as they have always been members they cannot now turn round and use as an excuse to force a merger. Until FIFA allows clubs to join the league of their choice, or UEFA drops the unification issue, no Scottish club will play in the English league.

....maybe Celtic's display over the two legs against Blackburn might persuade the powers that be that it would be a good idea and that would let Scottish football become more interesting again.
