Rock Star Game
Is anyone else on site a member of rockstar game and if so what name/game are you playing. My band name is currently Axima (though I'm probably going to change it soon) and I'm playing game 1 (I think)

How does the roleplay bit work? Is it all complete fantasy and bears no relation to the game itself? So, like, someone posts a thread saying they're putting together a tribute album or something, and you reply saying my band would like to cover this song, and then that's it..? Or is there more to it than that?

Erm, not sure. In respect to the tribute album bit, yeah, it was just a bit of fun, and the guy who originally posted said so. Which raises the question, if it needed stating, does that mean other stuff does have in game consequencies? I've seen tours announced that had to be just 'for fun', but other stuff like record deals that I wasn't so sure about. I think it is just meant as fun, to put some more colour into inter-band rivalries and what ever, but I'm not 100% sure yet...

Also, I was thinking of setting up a UK tour called the TNT21 Showcase, on a Roleplay thread. Anyone up for this?
Do it!!!!!! I'm not on the game but this could be a sneaky cool way of getting some more members
Sounds like a catchy name for a tour as well.... I can just see the T-Shirts now!

Well, starting to feel like I'm getting somewhere in the game. Decided to have a look at my two bands and compare stats. Then I compared them with you lot...
And Something Memorable are kicking all your collective asses! Erm, about from Trust Incubus, who seem to be way ahead of everyone... But apaaaaaaart from that, I rock!!!
Ahem. Anyway. Roleplay stuff. Yup, pretty sure none of this reflects in game. However, for example, there are a number of record labels in the Roleplay section. OK, all the talk of money and stuff is bogus, but many have websites and will do logos and cover design, as well as your own web page. Check these out:

Finally, as both my bands are starting to make headway, both having released singles and getting some serious stats and popularity, I'm keen to get a TNT21 thread going. So, if you are in all I need is your band details (members, what they play, your style, maybe even a short biog), and some suggestions for UK venues we could play. So far I'm thinking of Newcastle's Riverside, Bradford's St George's, Reading's Fez Club and London's The Garage. Say yay with details below if you're in.

This is really addictive!
I couldn't sleep this morning so been browsing around. After spending ages settling on a band name i went for Nine Lives (borrowed from the title of an Aerosmith album. I'd be up for a T21 tour! I've just played a small gig at Liverpool Uni...gotta get the student votes! My ID is 18058

I'm just leaving mine to gather enough points up so I can crank the band stats up, then write a few songs, then do the touring thing, then release some singles, and finally an album or two.. umm might take me a while

Well I'm now getting an average of 1000 people at my gigs...I released a single early on but i realise that was a mistake..waste of points and money 
- It looks from what I can see that JJ and Ethan have went the writing songs route as you guys seem to have much higher song-writing skills than me but lower abilitys...gonna try and get my ability maxed out before i do the old song-writing thing then I'll try and release another single...I'm not far off being able to tour the world either
