Wenht out to a club last night and went to go to the bar, i'd been drinknig but was not drunk at that point. Anyway this bloke was at the bar and i didn't realize, but he was pushing everyone away from the bar as if he wanted it for himself so he pushed me out the way too and I thought i'd better keep out his way so backed away. he then came up to me with his fist aimed at my face and he was really bloody angry and totally slaughtered, he looked furious and i'd not even done anything. Normally I can handle myself ok in these situations but this guy was about late 30's/early 40's, quite short, bald, but very stocky and muscular. At this point i'm starting to think where the hell are my mates i'm gonna need some help here, but they were all on the dance floor. Luckily one of his mates came along trying to calm him down and i'm still trying to back away with my hands in the air apologizing for whatever he may think i'd done. He'd still not back off so then his mate hit me in the face but only a fairly gentle jab, ok I was prety shocked but I think he did it so his mate wouldn't punch me and knock me out cold as his mate then backed dowen a bit and I then saw this as my chance to get away. Big dave saw it and was gonna go and hit the bloke back, if only he'd been there a bit earlier, but it didn't hurt and theres no bruise. We then saw the guy about 5 minutes later being kicked out by the bouncers maybe for trying to hit other people or something. Anyway i'm now really thinking about some self defence classes cuz they could come in pretty handy.
