I have no intention of restarting the debate that was closed by staff. But a lot of people seem to have misunderstood my position, have been thus offended, or have even made assumptions about my own experiences.

Basically, to those who felt that I was dismissing still-born children as not being human, I whole-heartedly apologize. That has never been my view, and any pain I have caused anyone by appearing to say that I deeply regret.

I won't attempt to clarify my views here, because that would be counter to the staffs wishes, but if anyone would like me to clarify I will gladly do so by email.

Again, apologies to anyone I have hurt by not clearly presenting my thoughts.
