I have no idea what you can do about this hun The only thing I can suggest its trying to mest the way with boiling water from the kettle, but I guess that MORE water is the last thing you need right now?

Try doing a search on google for ideas to clear the wax I found a few sites just by typing in "Wax in plughole"

Eep! I've managed to do that before, I'd completely forgotten about the bath and didn't realise until the lights downstairs started flickering! So like a moron I went to turn off the lights and got a mild electric shock! The light shades were kind of glass balls and they'd completely filled up with water! It was very scary!

I agree, hot water down the sink oughta help the wax, good luck! Hope you don't get into too much trouble!

i set my kitchen on fire on um...wednesday stupid me!

i had to beat the fire out with a knife...it was the nearest thing to hand
and the fire alarm went off and wouldn't shut up! and the neighbour came round and arrgh heh

but all is well....burnt through 2 wires though eep

Ok I'm fine!!! My dad took out the pipe from under the sink and scraped out the melted wax. I didn't get told off or anything despite my utter stupidty!

Thanks for your support! I was totally freaking out which surprised me as I'm normally a calm person! I phoned my friends and I was screaming/crying/laughing down the phone. I'll see this as a learning experience.

I haven't mentioned the damp patches in the ceiling. oh well.

I set my whole grill and oven alight one time, the fat from some bacon started the grill gonig mad with fire, i turned off all the power and closed the grill doors, took about half an hour for the flames to go out and the whole kitchen was smokem, i actually thought the kitchen was gonna blow up at one point.
