Dogs
ok, you know dogs right? well theres likes 1000's of different types and it got me thinknig how can they all have become that different i mena at noe tie they must all have been very similar i'd have thought. so are there so many types beause of cross breeding. like say there were jsut 2 types of dog originally not that there were, lets say a bull dog and an alsation. so the bull dog and alsation are mixed to get a dog like a poodle, then that poodle is cross bread with an alsation then a bulldog and you get a sausage dog and a rotweiler or something, is that how there are so many breads of dog?

Actually, the main reason there are so many breeds of dog (and the same goes for cats) is us. Long before Dolly humans genetically engineered dogs to fit their desires. We selected which dog bred with which dog so we could have dogs that were good at hunting rats, or fetching game, or fighting, or guarding, or for show. List goes on.
So, small part Charlie boy's natural selection, big part human's manipulating the process to their own ends.
Hope that helps.
