I have a part job working Saturday mornings at my local shop. The manager or superviser is meant to be there at 6am, and the shop opens at 7am when I arrive.
However today me and Dad waited for 1 hour and no one arrived so I slid a note under the door and now I'm at home waiting for a phonecall (if anyone turns up!)
Do you not have a contact number for the manager at all?
Dangermouse One more word from you , and i'll bitch slap you so hard, your children will be born well-behaved.
I hav ethis weekend off, but coming thru Earls Court , found out the ticket office is flooded , so would have had an easy day if i was there - but still better being off
And make sure they still pay you - not your fault no-one was there

The assisant manager was meant to open up but he seems to have vanished! The manager intended to drop in briefly at 9am but found the shop locked up still. She phoned me and the shop was opened by 9.30. She was so annoyed at how he hadn't turned up for work and he did the same on Thursday too! The shop was so busy today and I left at 12 as usual. I'll make sure I get the full 5 hours pay though.

That doesn't sound good...I've never *touch wood* slept in when I'm meant to open up..although thankfully I do more closes than opens now
