Euww! I won't ask

I have quite a few but they're too rude and nasty to mention here. Mostly people I did the dirty with that I probably shouldn't have as the memories still haunt me years later!

I suspect that most responses will fall into one of two categories -- the shamefull/embarrasing ones (waxing bits of Spike, shagging the wrong people) and horrific/harrowing ones; I've a fair share of both that I'd love to be rid of, but if only a limited number could be removed it would have to be some of the more horrifying ones.

Most of mine would involve the Scotland football team and World Cup Finals... 1974, 1978, 1982, 1986, 1990...

I can sympathise with that I was raped by an ex-boyfriend a few years back - really knocked my confidence for six took ages to get over it all.

I don't really have any I'd wipe from my memory, all of them have made me who I am today

something similar for me too. wish i could wipe it and do a defrag then it's gone forever!

Why cant you defrag your bwain? it'd free up lots of space

I'd like to erase the age of 10-12...VERY traumatic years for me

I'd like to forget the many different times where people I've cared about have hurt me

Generally though I think our experiences (good & bad) shape the person we are today so if I did forget those things they'd probably change how I act which might not be a good thing.

ummmm, i used to want to forget that when i was 2 in a german church, i stripped off (minus my socks) because i was warm. My mum shoulda listened to me when i said i was warm! Then after that my mum used to tell it to people and embarass me, but i got over it and just told everyone before she told them - it kinda breaks the ice in convo's

Yeah I kinda know where you are coming from, although that does require accepting who you are and whether you think you can do better.

What would I forget, so many things to choose... I don't think it would be to forget something I chose to do that turned out wrong, I'd rather have done something that went badly than have regretted not doing it for the rest of my life.

Things that have happened to you though, are a different kettle of fish... I'd chose to forget something like that.

I've found this before, but it still amazes me how common this sort of stuff is.

I'd like to forget the time I got beaten up in a Chicken Shop.

Not cos of the beating up, but cos of the fact that the last time my mum saw me before she died, I was all "beaten up face"

On a more jokey note, I'd like to forget the time when I was about 14. I was wearing a pair of white trousers and white shoes (not stilletos!) that my mum had bought me. I was out with a friend and a group of her mates near a river when one of the guys nicked a shoe but in the struggle to get it back he dropped it nearby the river. I strolled over to pick it up but it happened to be in the middle of a patch of mud. I stepped on the mud slightly to lean forward and retrieve it and my leg sunk straight into the mud right up to my knee. My shoe disappeared in the process.

So I went home with mud covered white trousers and one shoe - my mum wasn't impressed and the guys thought it was so funny
