Drawing and Writing Advice/Help
None of you probably know this but I'm an aspiring novelist and artist. One of my dreams is to have a book published!! 
At the minute I'm researching into this, I've picked up a book called 'Writers and artists yearbook 2001' and it lists a lot of publishing houses and what type of content they particularly look for.
What I was wondering was if anyone here has any advice or other books I could possibly take a look at, even a website, anything really to help me on my way. Not only for books but for artwork too. I mainly write and draw fantasy, pretty much Dungeons and Dragons, wizards and magic and so on.

I've used that book myself a few years ago to send my script to various Agents.
You should get the upto date version as Publishers and Agents details can change a lot.

I have the ideas for a brilliant book in my head but haven;t got round to writing it yet!
We've got that Writers yearbook in the college library. I'll take a look at in in one of my free periods.

Me too, except without the artist bit! I'm currently trying to get an older children's novel finished, but I'm kinda short on the work ethic at the mo...

The Writers and Artists Yearbook is probably the best all-round reference book you can get, so I'll just re-iterate the advice to get an up-to-date copy. I also heard that you should try to get an agent, as your work is more likely to be read if put forward by an agent. I'm also not sure if I remember reading that fantasy is notoriously hard to get published ...
Might be wrong.
