I'd start with chicken wire around it, to give more of a shape, and it's more malleable than just the wooden frame. Then you don't have to fill the middle either.... beyond that, I'm not sure, but that would be a good start...
stress. blah. death.
ok i have spent the last 11 or so hours maknig a really crap looking wooden frame of a 2/3ft high fox (which at the moment looks more like a dog, or something with a beak)
well anyway, i was going to fill it out using big thick bushy branches, if you get what i mean kinda pile them all together and use one for the tail then spray paint it all.
this is the general plan
but! problems getting big bushy branches....
so...im making a plea for any ideas as to how i can fill it out so it looks more like a fox and less like a wooden frame
oh and it has to be done by wednesday, so time is totally of the essence
pleeeeasseee help

does it have to be wood, or any material to bunch it out? I agree with Bee, chicken wire is good for shaping, then maybe cover in modrock. also what about lots of newspaper scrunched up to fill it, tape or glues to the frame, then maybe cover in modrock or papermache. or you could try cardboard, cut a few strips and bend them around into a circle and attach to the frame, then another strip next to that then another until you have a body.
wellll
ive kinda done it...
i covered it in cling film, an idea i nicked off some girl who did a similar thing last year, and i am going to spray paint it....
im worried i might ruin it though if i could find my usb cable i'd put a link to a picture of it....blah.
thanks for the ideas everyone
