Rather fruitless line of questioning when none of us can provide evidence either way, surely?

Me and Saddam go way back, he's round at my house enjoying Tea & Biscuits and watching CNN. We've been discussing Weapons of Mass Destruction, notably my cat's farts

And heres me thinking this was going to be like wheres wally, I could see Saddam in tat scarf

Strangely enough JtB, I thought exactly the same

Personally I don't think anyone will believe Saddam is dead or maimed until there is some proof presented....

Well the traditional head-on-platter should do the trick -- what Tony Blair would call "traditional values in a modern setting".

Except, of course, Saddam has at least five body doubles lurking, one of whom met Chancelor Shroeder! So if anyone happens to have any of the despot's intimate samples lying around, I'd suggest mailing it to the CIA/FBI/MTV immediately (discretion guaranteed).

So, even if he is dead, anyone ever see Kagemusha?

I dunno about him being dead, but the man who was on TV this morning was sooooooooooo not thge same bloke who was on a few days ago when war broke out!!

I think a slightly more interesting question is "Is his son Uday dead?" With the exception of structured TV addresses by 'Saddam' Uday has been making all the statements in response to individual attacks and events - until the weekend that is when the Health Minister was making those staements instead. V suspicious!

The faces were just totally different. The first one was really 'jowly' (the only way I can think to describe it) If you look at the two stills printed in the papers tho it is *really* obvious

One of them also has a mole/birthmark on the side of their face that the others don't..

so the only correct resons to the question is 'Which one?'

I thought i saw him this morning riding shergar with lord lucan, and then popping into mcdonalds for a big shake( boom booom) and being served by elvis, but then agian i might have been seeing things !!!

Ahh, leave the poor chap alone. I regularly regret things I did the night before, let alone 20 years ago.
