Suicide on IRC
A friend pointed this out to me. It's basically a site about a guy who commited suicide. He was discovered by his mother but it wasn't until a few days later that someone turned on his computer and discovered that he filmed the whole thing via his webcam while people in the chat room cheered him on. There is a transcript to the conversation as he killed himself.
Just wondered what people make of this?
I guess there should be some sort of warning as the site details suicide and there is some bad language.

If this is the one that was in the paper a while back (can't check - site is timing out), it's worth pointing out that the room that he was in was specifically for people who routinely overdose on certain meds for recreational purposes. I understand that the observers didn't think anything of it until he disappeared offline, at which point a few tried to contact him, leading to the discovery of his condition.
