I take a packet of dried raisins to college everyday and my dad emptied out the raisins and filled it with breadcrumbs and wrote 'April Fools!' inside!

I didn't hear it but, apparently, on Wave FM this morning (a local radio station) they did a story about how the fossilised remains of a sabre toothed mouse was found.

It fooled one of my work colleagues for a while

One of our local radio stations asked people to turn up in the city centre wearing bikinis and the first 50 would get free tickets to the Grand National...

i habent noticed anything in the newspapers, i think the war is keeping a lot of frivolity out, as the papers want to be serious........

My friend Fay sent me a text message saying she was stuck in london and needed my help urgently and that her battery was really low and to call her on this number and ask for 'Liz' and she'd pass Fay the phone.

So of course, being the good friend i thought she was in real trouble i called the number...and it calls Buckingham Palace!! and you get this message saying 'You have called this number which means you have been sent a prank call'

I now hate Fay

I've posted a message on my site (which, strangely enough, has a fair number of frequent visitors) saying I've shut it down because "it's just not fun anymore". I'm waiting 'til tomorrow to tell 'em it was all a joke

The days of chasing peas as the roll around the plate ar over. Scientists have come up with a radical solution - a new square variety.
The peas, which look like a small sugar cube and are guaranteed not to fall off the fork, have been developed in assocation with Sainsbury's, which canvassed shoppers on their fvourite vegetables. Eight out of ten put peas top of their list but more than half complained they were difficult to eat.
So the supermarket, which sells 24 billion frozen peas a year, asked its scientists to look into the problem. They discovered an ancient variety which had been grown in the early eighteenth century that had fallen out of favour as gardeners opted for its sweeter-tasting rounder relative.
Growers have now managed to recreate this variety and Sainsbury's will test-market them from today. April 1.

When I went out to the car this morning, I found that someone had put flyers under the windscreen wipers of all the cars in the street, and on the lamp-posts, claiming to be trying to get support for a campaign against a golf course to be built on the common land just south of our village. Seeing as the common is part of the Thames water meadows, and spends most of the winter underwater, I was a bit doubtful about this

I'd like to know how many people turned up for the public meeting though!

Also, there was an item on the radio this morning about Cold War bunkers being sold off on Ebay, but I think that might have been true

Our local radio station told people that a safari park was being built near the town and that the grand opening would be in a fortnight. They offered the first 100 people to phone in free family tickets for opening day and got almost 1000 calls hehe...suckers.

This little year 7 came into our Biology class, as his teacher had sent him looking for 'elbow grease' ( ) this was the third class he'd been to, and he couldn't understand why everyone laughed, and sent him off to the next class saying 'Mrs. Example might have some'. Aw, funny at the time, but I felt sorry for him afterwards, he went all red when he realised!
