My boss? To be honest, I don't think you can find a better one.

He will always back us up if we need it. He has a thing where he pulls our names out of the hat to get home early on Fridays. He has taken our department out on booze-ups running up hundreds of pounds on his company credit card. Me and him have very similar music tastes (And tastes in women ) He has also paid for me to kip in a hotel if I need it to meet up with my engineers. Yup, I'd say he is pretty damn cool.

Probably best if i dont post it there is such a thing as libel, but then again depends wheather its true or not

My boss is alright as a guy but he sucks as a boss. he doesn't stand up for you with his bosses, he drops you in it to cover himself, getting holidays/time off is a nightmare and he expects you to do more work than you actually should...Can you tell I hate my job

my boss is pretty cool too. I do a part-time job in the summer. He doesn't mind if i can't work one time and i can have my lunch whenever and my hours are flexible. He's a friend of my dad's so he's just greatful to have someone who's honest and hardworking (god knows why me!) cause he's had problems with people stealing in the past

Depends who you mean. There's the line managers (four I think, though they keep changing it). Then their manager. Then the section manager. Then the Department manager. And then there's someone above him. And a couple more for good luck. More chiefs than indians. Most of the line managers are people I used to work with, but had this thing called ambition, and got themselves promoted in return for less pay. They're ok, especially as people, but don't really get what a line manager is for, and end up being lackeys for the wastes of space above them.

And some of those wastes of space are also nice people. But paid lots of money for misuse use of company funds, bad work practice, and continually rebranding things instead of addressing the real issues.

Then there's the ones right at the top. The ones who get multi-million pay offs for lying about the financial status of the company and for running the company so badly that several good, hard working people loose their jobs as we 'downsize' (or is it 'rightsize', I loose track of the fassions).

As you can tell, I have a high opinion of my bosses. Happily have a drink with most of them (but not all, unless they're buying), but not a one of them actually knows how to manage. Which, in my experience, is a common problem in this country. People get promoted because they're good at their job. Consequently they no longer do the job they're good at and fumble through a job they have no idea how to do, never mind do it well.

Shes nice but she wont let me drop my Saturday shift so it makes me not like her the supervisors are very very VERY bitchy though!

Well my bosses are married. Laura is only 27 and is lovely and texts me all the time, she's more like a friend. Clive is nice but a bit quiet and a mad driver. They are strict and aware of safety with their kids and do worry a lot. But they must have a lot of trust in me to leave me with an 18 month baby swimming in their house

My boss at my part-time job is really nice and so is my superviser.
