Bugger! I wanted to video this and now I'm in the pub. Programmes like this are the reason I would only ever let family babysit for my kids.
now on itv (9.30pm)
its a show about things that have happened to people's children's in the care of nannies and in the first 30 second i was shouting at the telly and gasping in shock at what one women was doing to a toddler.
dunno if anyone's interested but it's totally shocking what some people are capable of doing when entrusted to look after young kids a lot was caught on camera when some parents become suspicious.

Yup totally agree with you there - I saw a programme similar a while ago and wanted to kill half of the so called Childminders for what they were doing to kids.

i came back to make a comment on this as i couldnt be bothered earlier lol
awww i missed this programme, but then i missed angel too as i fell asleep grrrr
anyway im a nanny so i would have loved to have seen it,except i have decided to give my notice on monday,my boss decided to moan at me today about taking the youngest child out and not doing enough housework, you would think she would love me taking more care with the kids than the housework,im sure i can find a better family.

prophecy: Angel is repeated on Saturday night, make sure you don't miss it!!!
And even though i was watching "Angel", i don't like programmes like these. Yeah they bring these type of sicko's to public awareness, but it's scary that human beings can do this to innocent little children.. it really disturbs me. I can't stand any kind of cruelty to children and this would've upset me majorly. And like Teresa, it's programmes like this one that makes me only ask close family to be babysitters (at the moment only my mum and mum in law, apart from Ray are the only people i trust 100% with my kids)

I saw this advertised and decided there was no way I could watch it. I know I would just have been in tears
Not too hard to understand. The pub is crap & I only went in to keep Jazz company. He was ignoring me so I went into the other bar which has computers. Sat there with my vodka updating my journal and stuff.

I missed it too because hubby was watching something else and it was halfway through by the time EW caught me on msn about it.
And sometimes certain family members shouldn't be trusted as far as you can throw them I really believe in this day and age, that the hidden CCTV camera things are actually quite an eye opener.

Of course there is a third way...
If you sell your children into slavery then not only do you get a cash lump sum up front but you save many years worth of babysitter woes.

Speaking as a childminder this does give childminders a bad name. I am 15 and look after 3 children. On a Wednesday I look after Tabitha who is 18 months, now her mum and dad are a bit neurotic but they must have a hell of a lot of trust in me cos they leave me in the house with her. They even let me take her swimming in their pool. I didn't see this program but I wish I had.
