This is good news Although, my asthma is certainly not as bad as it used to be, it still does get really bad when i have colds or my room is particulary dusty (gives my mum an excuse to complain about my room )

errmmm, if it's a vaccine how does it help you if you have the condition, vaccines stop you from getting it, cures help with the problem. Also isn't asthma a condition? Since you can only vacinate against diseases this really is quite confusing

It's an allergic reaction to a given stimulus (dust, cat hair, pollution, whatever), therefore it isn't *always* present until the circumstances occur. So it prevents the allergic reactions from happening, and can be considered a vaccine. Easy Peasy
