I read on some web site a while a go that SMG gets £30,000 an episode, but that may have gone up, as I think that was for season 6. I don't know about the others, probably less.

She's great an' all, but that's just gross.

I wouldn't be surprised if it's far more than that actually..

UPN are paying Fox $2 million per episode for Buffy. I can't find any figures, but I seem to remember reading back when they moved from the WB that the casts salaries are a fairly substantial proportion of that.

IIRC each episode has a budget of ~USD2.5m, with cast salaries accounting for about half that. Though their salaries will not be in the Seinfeld/Friends/Frasier range (the girl who plays Daphne will be the lowest paid of the four main cast in Frasier and I believe she gets ~USD350k per episode) they won't be too far off. At a rough guess I'd say SMG is only marginally less the TGWPDIF (~USD300k?) followed by AH, Nicholas Brendan and James Marsters ar ~USD200k or so (though who gets more than who is trickier, difficult to say who is the second character and for what reasons).

SMGs films and adverts will certainly have helped her bank balance, Maybeline, Scooby Doo & Scooby 2 would I guess add up to ~USD10m. AH is in a strong position with American Pie, especially if she's on a decent %age for American Wedding.
