Ok someone has to agree with me, when you cook something it just isn't as good as your mums. I just made myself a bowl of disgusting pasta and plopped too much olive oil on to take the taste a way (little did I know the olive oil costs about 24 quid a bottle ) And my mum makes nice food so why can't I do it like her?!

i miss and crave my mother's cooking every single day, nothing can come close to her amazing cooking but then almost everyone says that about their mum's cooking.
i can cook, real good to but i chose not to as after all the cooking im not in the mood to eat which was the same ofr my mum too.
Before my Mum became disabled with her osteo-arthritis etc her home cooking was second to none - we had cakes, biscuits and "proper" decent food all made from scratch None of this pre-packed just heat up stuff.....

My mother is a great cook. Only, whenever I visit my parents back in Malaysia, she almost never cooks, mainly because food's so cheap out there my parents decided it was just a lot less hassle to eat out most of the time!
My mum is a pretty good cook but my mum in law is better. Me? well let's put it this way, if Ray wasn't such a great cook, me and the kids would starve! .
I'm not so bad now, i can prepare a very simple meal for the kids now but i'm just not interested in cooking..i know i can cook better than i do, i'm just not interested. And fortunately the kids' love stuff like fish fingers and chicken nuggets so that's okay. I'm also blessed that my two eat and love vegetables

i love my mum's sandwiches! My mates call them the "perfect sandwiches" cos according to them they looking like a clip-art sandwich, with a bit of lettuce and tomato hanging out.
I love my mum's other cooking too, makes great Yorkshire puds and a lovely tuna pasta bake! mmmmmmmmm, hungry now
