By definition, you can do it with anyone.

A while ago the IMDB (I think) calculated who the most interconnected person in the movie world was by calculating the average number of links between them and everyone else and I believe that (although Kevin came very high) the winner was Sean Connery.

Didn't we (or buk?) once have a games thread on the six degrees of separation. We pretty much managed the challenge on matching two actors/actresses with no more than six links.

I think this is more a comment on the fact that he is *everywhere* a la Kevin Bacon. He turned up in Cobra last night playing - yes you guessed it - big scary looking bad guy...

Imagine the casting meetings
Writer: Yeah, then he meets the main bad guy. The guy is, like, huge - and scary looking - let's not forget scary looking
Director: Yeah that could work nicely. He has to be huge and scary though, right?
Producer (to secretary): Get me Brian Thompson's agent

anyone seen the short film before phonebooth called outsmarting the devil (or sumfin) it has James Brown as the guy trying to get another 50 years from the devil and gary oldman plays the devil who rides around in a wheelchair.
it was very weird and kinda freaked us out at first as we hadnt a clue what was going on LOL

Just out of interest I tried the Kevin Bacon game with ol' Brian. And guess what:

Brian Thompson has a Kevin Bacon number of 2.
