LOL. Very cool!

Although, I do remember seeing a news item where someone kept making withdrawals from a cash machine coz it kept chucking the money out and word soon spread and thousands of pounds were taken.

The net result? The bank pressed charges and the family who started it all were prosecuted and imprisoned. Wish I could remember more of the details now.

Yep you have to let the bank know or they won't be happy, but I myself would take the chance and not tell them, but i'm pretty sure they'd find out, so watch ya back

To be fair you have a reciept that says you withdrew £80. Any there isnt no evidence that the machine paid you more, and you havent actually stolen anything or commited fruad.

Personally I would deny all knowledge if anybody asks and lets face it its a bit of justice for those high charges £30 letters ect.

Did anyone else see the cash point in Birmingham at the T Party that insisted that you withdraw money in multiples of £9999? I think it was a Lloyds.

So it would appear that you haven't committed a crime T... guess it comes down to whether you think it is morally right to keep the money that isn't actually yours... damn that pesky conscience.

Who'd have thought T would turn out to be the master criminal huh... and none of those pesky flaws like feeling the need to tell the hero her plans or maybe posting about it on a public bulletin board...

If they ask for it back they can have it but until they do I'm keeping it. It's not like I went back again and again (unlike some people in the queue) and 'cos I knew they had cameras I didn't even bother counting it at the machine I put it straight in my purse and acted all cool

Just to show I'm not all bad, several years ago I found a handbag containing about £900 in cash. In the bag was a Christmas list and photos of the womans family so I returned it to her and she was so grateful she gave me a bottle of cheap red wine

Well you can always say you didn't check the amount that came out, I never actaully count the money that I get from an ATM machine....

If you ask me right now I would have no clue how much money there is in my wallet at the moment I just know there is enough to cover lunch at work

So you can always deny that you know about it..... although posting here doesn't really help

But the T21 staff can always temper with evidance and make it disappear

It could also be a similar case to when someone in a shop/pub/whatever gives you the wrong change - unless you tell them, too bad.
