I'm working an 8 hour day starting at 9. I read in the manual that 'for an 8 hour day you will have 2 breaks and 1 hours unpaid lunch break" I assume even with the hour's lunch I still finish at 5 as that is an eight hour day.
As opposed to actually working 8 hours and having an hours unpaid lunchbreak which would make the day 9 hours long with me finishing at 6??? Well I guess I'll find out tommorow!

Good luck with your new job, hun
I would have thought, though, that if it's an 8 hour day, they mean you work 8 hours but, like you say, guess you'll find out soon enough

LOL!
I finish at 6. not too great. I'm going in today 1-5 to get some more training on the till but the Border's people come round and take our till off about 4.15-4.30 so I'll have a while just dossing around again. It's so much better than my old job!
For the uniform I wear black trousers, a black t-shirt with a black shirt over it with 'Paperchase' written on a pocket. And this cool tag thing round my neck with Paperchase/Borders on it that to get into the staff area you kind of flash it at this screen.
