I'd hurry if I were you. From the looks of www.wayahead.com , the tickets are selling fast and the seats left are getting further and further from the stage.

Yay! I didnt know so many people here were Eddie fans! I have tickets for Manchester. Block C Row J! Can't breathe...too excited...argh!

And one of my fave Eddie bits is from Unrepeatable (I think) where he talks about new Phaser settings instead of Stun, left oven on, grazed knees, ice cream van coming etc But I cant remember the exact quote. Sorry!

As an aside... does anyone else think that maybe the tickets are a tad expensive?

I know Eddie is all famous and international and everything, but £30 is a lot for a stand-up gig and might demonstrate a certain lack of concern about loyal but slightly less than wealthy fans on the part of the (hardly destitute) Monsieur Izzard.

I'm gonna hopefully book these sometime tomorrow cos as Inc says they're selling fast. So if anyone wants out then please post here or e-mail me (address in profile) or text me if you have my number.

Otherwise I'll get tickets for us 5 plus some others who I've spoken to tomorrow.

I'll also e-mail you all saying pretty much exactly what I've just said to increase the chance that you'll see this before tomorrow afternoon. (Except for Bipolar cos I don't think I have your e-mail address, so you'll have to e-mail me)

Well, yes. Slightly less so everywhere but Wembley at £27.50 including booking fee, but still.

I suspect the main factor in the price is the fact that they're all arena dates, and unless he were to spend a year just touring the UK, there's really no other option given how popular he is.

Sure... but the flat rate ticket price does perhaps discriminate somewhat towards the well off? Just seems to me that there is plenty of scope for variable pricing with cheaper tickets available as well.

I just tend to feel with these things that fans should have at least some chance to get tickets to see their stars at a reasonable price before pandering to event junkies who can always go to a tout or agency.

I may even start a thread.

Well, as I've informed Flowers earlier today, I'm in for the 22nd, and have submitted my holiday form to work to make it possible. Nice way to start the holiday week.

And just to set everyone's mind at rest, we have tickets!!!! They're not bad seats either by the sounds of it, considering that they're selling so fast and we've got 10 seats together. They're on the Arena floor, probably a fair way back but central. So it should be cool, and I can't wait!
