SPIKE, do you ever meet girls in normal situations? Or girls that don't have boyfriends or problems etc?

Ok so, you nkow theres this bird who leaves little notes for me by a bench in Hyde Park and I leave her ones and presents and stuff, how can i get her to meet me 
S I mean like we're net buddies and all she'll do is leave me notes but i'd like to meet her, its not cuz I fancey her, altho she is gorgeous, its more the fact shes a good mate and although i'm now starting to think I do like her quite a bit its mainly the friendship thing. But she won't actually meet me, its not cuz i'm crazy or that shes she, its cuz shes a very sorta secluded person with lots of troubles and she don't like people getting involved in her troubles so tries not o let anyone get too close. So how would you reccomend i can try and let her know I don't care if i get hurt or involved in her troubles? I've told her this but tis not worked S

And MUST you refer to them as "birds"??, we don't have feathers and we don't cheep!!

I thought he'd taken up a career as an ornithologist and found a rare specimin in said park..

Stalk her. Put some sort of tracer in something you leave her and then tail it to where she lives.

Hire a private detective. 
More to the point and just a personal take but...
if someone goes to that much trouble to keep you from getting involved in their life because they have 'troubles' then that might be considered something of a warning sign akin to 'Avoid at all costs'.

dude you wanna be a good friend? respect her wishes and enjoy the little fun you two share rather then being so desperate to ruin the mystery/fun that you guys have obviously been having so far.

Well, if the pictures Spike has shown me are genuine, she is very attractive. In one of them, I reckon she looks a little like Clare Kramer but Spike doesn't think so.

I recommend you don't. Anyone that keen on not letting anyone close is only going to hurt you if you push them into letting you in. The problem isn't you, it's her, and she probably knows that. The question isn't whether you're ready, but is she.

Like Bipolar said, enjoy what you have, don't pressure her, and just be there for her if she wants to talk to someone. But let her do it at her pace not your's.
In the meantime, on a more self-interested note, look elsewhere for a romantic entanglement. She's clearly not ready now and may never be with you. But then this smacks of your usual chasing after the unobtainable because you're scared of being rejected by someone you really think might be interested. Just a ruse to protect yourself.
Maybe we should be talking about how to get you passed your hangups, rather your friend getting over hers?

Posted: 20:20 Jun 21 2003 erm...It was under a tree not on a building, and I got to zoom in on this naked woman whos Boyfriend was taking pics of her. but nah I gave up waiting and went off with some spanish 'girls' but gave up on them too as I don't speak spanish and we coulkdn't talk about much cuz they didn't understand. OK I shall jsut wait to see if she lets me in, but i'm hoping she can hook me up with some of her mates.

actually she was topless but still covered slightly and i had to point it out to him that she had in fact stripped so it wasnt the cheap thrill he makes it out to be and she spotted him anyway despite his cunning disguise of tearing holes in a magazine and spying through it

Why cant you just find yourself a nice, semi-normal girl, who doesn't already have a boyfriend?? You really do have the most random taste in women! I think you should just respect her wishes and keep it the way it is, knowing you there'll be another 'fit bird' within about a week anyway!
