The Tories' policies on drugs are far from radical -- I heard Letwin on radio 4 today saying that if people chose to continue to use instead of get treatment, they should still be jailed.

And I don't believe for a minute that any of these bandwaggon jumping policies would survive after they crawled into office. They're riven by ideological infighting and directionless, which they're trying to mask by launching a few headline-grabbing inititives.
