Im impartial, I dont watch wrestling
nWo - Good? Bad? Indifferent?
So guys, what do you think of the nWo?
As a fan of wrestling who likes to think he knows what he is talking about, i think they suck. They are old, slow and there are younger, better stars that could be using the TV time. However, the mark in me loved seeing Rocky and Hogan in the same ring and can't wait for 'Mania.
I think what needs to happen is that the WWF needs to be sorted out in general. They need to scrap some titles (Euro, Womens and Hardcore) and concentrate on making the Tag and IC titles stable and worth caring about. I'd stick Billy and Chuky on Heat, reform the Impact Players and bring in some new tagteams that were actual tag teams. Then i'd stick the IC Title on RVD and let him run with it. The title picture has plenty going for it at the moment, it's about the only thing they are doing right (well, apart from Steph being in the picture).
If these other things were sorted out, i think the nWo would come across alot better, but as it is, the nWo suck, just like everything else.

Okay what can I say about the nWo..well Hall - Good, Hogan - Indifferent, Nash - Bad...now why...
Hall - Okay I know about Scott Hall's history and backstage rep but I hope he takes this chance and runs with it..anyone who can get a crowd going just by saying "Hey Yo" is brilliant and I think he has the ability to put on a great match..Austin Vs Hall at Mania should be a great match.
Hogan - Okay I remember Hulkamania, I remember my brother and I play fighting with him being Hogan and me being Warrior and doing the power-up thing that both guys used to do, I remember the WM when Hogan & Warrior fought for the WWF Title, I remember the WM when Hogan and Savage fought and made up at the end and Savage had Elizabeth on his shoulder, I remember Hogan & Mr T Vs Piper & Orndorff, I remember the Hogan bodyslam on Andre and all these things and more (Hogan Vs Slaughter almost passed me by there) make me remember Hulk hogan in a kind light...then I see Hollywood Hogan and cringe...I think the character is okay and there is *no way on earth* that the old Hulk Hogan character would get over with fans nowadays(well at least not for long)but there just seems to be something missing in the whole Hollywood Hogan character..hopefully Rock Vs Hogan will be a good match but I can pretty much tell you that it will be pretty crappy with Hogan Leg-drop the only offense I can see him making and some help from the Outsiders making it difficult for Rock to win(which I think he will)
Nash - Okay so why do they pay this guy so much money to do nothing. He's a pretty crappy wrestler from what I saw of him in WCW and remember of him in WWF(I stopped watching WWF just when Deisel started his run) and at the moment he just stands about and maybe does some bad mic work..they could have kept Tori & Chyna on for the money they're giving Nash and got them to stand at ringside looking pretty(or scary in Chynas case)
So what should they do to improve it?
They should get a WWF Champ that everyone believes in ie a heel Rock, a face Austin or a heel Triple H. Depending on which of the 3 are picked there should be a top tier of talent who fued with each other and are never far from the title picture..these should be Angle, Kane, Jericho, Booker T and Hogan(although I would never ever let hogan have the title..his fueds would just generate interest in the WWF)
Then you get some of the other guys fighting for the Intercontinental Title which would be held by either Rikishi, Edge, RVD, Regal or Test. Put Undertaker in between the IC title holder and the group fighting for the right to be No1 Contender and you could have a one-up-one-down system going on where someone is elevated to main event status by fueding with Taker.
Tag Teams I'd have The Outsiders, The Impact Players, the Hardys, The Dudleys or Acolytes as champs and also add in a couple of other tag teams for lower card spots like Scotty & Albert, Chuck & Suck and Kaientai.
Euro Title would be people like Godfather, Val Venis, Christian, DDP..people who could be swapped up to fight for the IC title as they got a better pop from the crowd.
I'd keep the hardcore title for people like Perry Saturn, Bossman .. wrestlers with stupid gimmicks or who always use weapons(a mop and a nightstick)
I'd ditch the Light/Heavyweight title but the womens belt I'd keep if they had some decent talent in it ..by that I mean Lita, Molly, Trish, Victoria(who is a developmental at OVW but is looking quite good) and I'd bring back Tori. All the women should be sided/managing a wrestler preferably a Tag-Team or IC/Euro wrestler to help them get the push to singles if theyr'e a tag guy or up the ladder if theyr'e already a singles guy.
There you go my massive ramble on the WWF..who knows maybe Vince will see this and hire me
And can I also say MMmmm Trish

The Rock? I thought he'd left or something...
Mind you, I've only got terrestrial (arse!) so I get left in the dark regarding wrestling...

He's making one last return as a bad guy before he leaves for the movie world, hence the Rock vs Hogan 2 at No Way Out
The match against Hogan's not what he's coming back for...look out for Rock Vs Goldberg at Wrestlemania (if the WWE & Goldberg ever reach a compromise) and if not then probably Rock Vs Austin.

Technically he's coming back because he has a gap in his schedule, it's always been planned. The heel thing is based on the fan reactions he's gotten lately (although that was mainly from east coast, who always tend to be a bit strange in who they boo and cheer) and so if they can make some money out of it before he goes back to films again they will do.
From what i heard Goldberg only wants to do the big pay-per-views and not the week in week out stuff, but hopefully something will be sorted
