This is a niggling problem that annoyed me on my laptop and has now started to occur on my desktop as well:
When I click on a URL within a web page that opens a new window (e.g., the way T21 URLs do), the new window opens but with strange characteristics:
The new window is only a couple of inches wide and half an inch or so deep and all it consists of is a small part of the IE description bar at the top (e.g., Tangent21 - General Chat - Microsoft Internet Explorer) and the buttons to minimise, maximise and close the window.
The window can be maximised or stretched to a larger size in order to see the new web page but next time I click a link and open a new window, it reverts to the size and description above.
This has only started happening recently and I was wondering whether there are browser settings I can change that will make the new window larger again since it is starting to really bug me?

I had a problem like that..not sure of a browser setting but I went into the registry and changed the values concerning IE Window sizes in there...not recommended for the faint of heart or computer illiterate
Curious. Usually the dimensions of the window are stored when you close the *only open window of the application* so (in theory) if you make sure that window is not maximised but is at a decent viewable size when you close it in a normal fashion (File > Close) it should remember the values.
I say *should*. Editing the registry is the other option.
