Epilating
do you think tis possible to epilate facial hair, and would it be more effective and cheaper than shaving?, also where do I but an epilator thing from?

You do realise that that's basically waxing don't you?

I nearly suffered some sort of pain haemarrage when I used my epilator on my legs. The pain was worse than shuffling butt naked on sand paper and nails. I took mine back to boots claiming it cut me and spent my money on a shaver instead.

Do you mean that light treatment that kills hair folicles off?
it's quite pain free but i havent tried it so thats just other peoples say so.
prices for a womans lip are about 8 euros here. probably much more in the UK and you want the lip and chin and sideburns!
Is shaving really so much of a hassle? I mean we shave or wax - under arms, legs, bikini, and as we get older, lip hair.
Shaving isnt that bad is it?

Cat, epilating is when the hairs are pulled out of your legs with a little machine thing and that's why i shave my legs. Don't do the waxing thing either because of the pain (i'm a baby i know, but i don't care)

I remember Elton John on some chat show or other last year mentioning that he used a form of cream that virtually melts the hairs and their roots. You could try that, just go into Boots I'd imagine.
I think men across the world need to know the results of your experiments!

There's also some sort of paste which is sugar stuff and you roll it on your skin and it pulls your hairs out!

Wax? He's already done that. I even paid out on the bet I had with him over it. But at least I didn't hang around to see him wax his unmentionables.

Electrolysis is probably the best way to do this, though you may want to try a depilatory cream (immac etc), but these may not work very well since they're designed for girls leg folicles which are a lot shallower than guys face folicles.
