How the hell did Doublemeat Palace make it into the cut?!!!!
That was one of the worst Buffy eps I've ever seen!!
Might just be me of course....
I voted for OMWF by the way As if you had to ask

Is that the one where the creature comes out of the woman's head and eats people?

Doublemeat Palace ...
That was one of the worst Buffy eps I've ever seen!!
Definitely a contender for worst... episode... ever... which might make an interesting vote off in it's own right.
Can I nominate the Body... can I can I?
It is obvious that OMWF is going to be popular because it is the stand out ep of a average season. Seasons 4, 5 and 6 each had a unique ep that makes them stand out so, by definition, will be remembered the most, usually fondly.
However, I thought both 'Tabula Rasa' and 'Seeing Red' were worthy of honourable mentions.

"Once More, With Feeling". The villian in that episode, the demon Sweet, had more charisma and malice in the taps of his shoes than the three geeks combined. It basically sums up where season six went so disasterously wrong by what it gets right. It's a blast from beginning to end, sends itself up fearlessly while incorporating real drama, and has genuine comedy. What came subsequently made the Keystone Cops look like Lenny Bruce.
And not forgetting, of course, the slew of great tunes packed with wickedly zany lyrics. It's one long pastiche of every Hollywood musical of the past few decades, and hits every note beautifully. And you get what you need for a true classic, a great payoff once the dancing is done. (Only ruined by the knowledge of what was to come.)
Buffy would never get this good again.

I have to say, my favourite S6 episode was Normal Again.
Of those to chose from I was torn between Tabula Rasa for the sheer fun of it, Seeing Red for it's in your face violence and OMWF for....well...do I need a reason?
