Results

Good luck to all A-level and AS level students getting their results tomorrow. Apparently there is a near 100% pass rate for all students this year. I will be going with my bf to collect his tomorrow and next week he'll come with me to get my GCSE results

I'm worried as hell. Once again I managed to do practically no work for any of my subjects and I didn't even write anything for my last history paper. I'm fairly screwed really, but at least there's retakes.

I'm sooooooooooooo scared cos I get my AS level results. I was predicted BCC so I hope I don't do any worse than that.

Incandenza It's not a zero-sum game.

Apparently the overall pass rate is approximately 95%, an increase of around 1% on last year and the 22nd consecutive year-on-year rise.

Make of that what you will.

'A' grades will represent 21% of the total results earned.

This is why I cherish my two old-style A-level results over my two AS/A2s. In my experience, AS are indeed a doddle, but A2s were just as hard as my two traditional A-levels. However, like you say, the perception's there.

Anyhow, enough of that. No doubt people will have worked their backsides off for their exams, so best of British to you!

I got in my AS levels:
B in English
C's in Psychology and History. I'm pretty pleased, I can go back, do my A-levels and easily get on my midwifery degree course

Wow, I can't believe my results! As in psychology and politics, B in biology and C in History. You have no idea how sure I was that I'd FAILED history - I think they felt sorry for me considering I pretty much just scrawled out a few random words. I'm so happy! I don't have to do biology next year! Celebration tonight me thinks

Well done guys!!

I went with my friend to get his A level results this morning then waited around for three hours for my AS results! Worth the wait though, I got A's in Film Studies ("soft subject" my bottom!) English Lit and Sociology and a B in Psychology. Most pleased with my Psychology after a bad first module. Not going out tonight though cause I'm going to V tomorrow and need to pack!

A big congratulations to everyone.

To put those results into some context, Harry (third in line to the throne and winner of the lucky sperm lottery) got a B in Art and a D in Geography (he dropped that pesky third subject [History of Art since you ask] in order to make sure he scraped the two passes necessary to get into Sandhurst). He achieved this with all the assistance that Â£20,000 a year will buy you from Eton.

Sandhurst, for any enquiring minds, is a Military Academy. Emblazoned on their website is the inspiring slogan "ARMY - be the best".

anyway, got my results today

AVCE (advanced gnvq) CC (very high c's, almost b's)

and for my A2 i got a high C

so im all the C's!
