However, I'd just like once more to highlight the injustice that is the lack in the above list of

THE ZEPPO.

Had to go for Chosen for teh level of impact it had on me. Its hard to explain, but after I watched that episode I became more of a fan than I have ever been. Dunno what it was, but it must have been something

I'm the only one to vote for it so far (and possibly overall) but I had to vote for Angel. The first season of Buffy is still a good season for me because it was fresh and the characters were still developing and it was the first episode that seemed to show what was coming - once we knew Angel was a vampire it was good to imagine what would happen if Buffy ever had to come up against him in a fight. It also allowed David Boreanaz to develop his character from that point onwards rather than just being the guy in the shadows who turned up occasionally with advice.

I think there were some brilliant episodes in the other seasons - Hush being a good example - but overall for me Angel is still my favourite.

"Becoming, Part 2", though surely both parts should be listed? Anyhow, it remains the best finale to a TV series I've seen, surpassing even The Sopranos'. I don't think Buffy ever managed to better it.

"Dopplegangland" as a solid second course.
