Today I Met ............At A Dog Show
I went to a local dog show today and was just walking around when we noticed a demonstration about the Tillington Touch,a way of relaxation for dogs.It was demonstrated by Sarah Fisher, the wife of Anthony Head.
So thinking that she was there,I thought Tony might have been too.My boyfriend spotted him across the crowd. The next thing,I turn around and Marks talking to Tony about his dog and introducing me.
Ok the bad part was that he knew we were Buffy fans as I was wearing my Angel shirt. He was a very nice friendly chap, gave Mark advice about how to relax his cat and we are going to meet him in October so we said we would show him a picture of my dog then. Then he shook our hands,I was soooo excited.
He had his daughters there too and his dogs gorgeous,a black and white mongrel, all fluffy.
So what turned out as a depresing day, actually turned out really great,I never expected to see him there

I remember many years back when I worked in a Spar store part time and Tony Head came in (circa Series 2 of Buffy) and when I was serving him (was quiet) I began chatting to him and he seemed kind of suprised I actually referred to him as Tony Head rather than Giles or the Coffee Man - his words not mine. I found him to be really chilled and friendly and said goodbye whne he left. He replied very politely "See You Again No Doubt" (he was in theatre locally) and he left the shop. Poor bugger didn't know what hit him as two girls from across the road shouted out "It's that guy from Buffy.." and began running after him down the street. Poor devil. I guess some people can't respect people's private time in a polite manner. There is one thing being polite and respectful with "Sorry to disturb you etc etc", but it is another when they scream across the street at you and then run after you.
But, one thing is for sure. The few times I have met Tony Head he has been a stand out friendly guy.

Chris' cousin saw him buying a few rabbits in a petstore near where she lives. He must be a huge animal fan
