Last i heard the bidding was up to $78,000, though i'm sure that's gone up since then.

$78,000 is teh reserve price, so thats basically the absolute minimum it can go for... So far no one appears to have been loaded enough to bid for it
My betting is that he sold it to a car company who gave him a good price if he agreed to let them sell it stating it was previously owned by him and if he threw in a 'day with David' too.

Actually it doesn't seem too bad a price $78,000 works out to about £49,500 and in the UK those cars (or very similar) go for about £57,000 new.

Apparently it's not available outside of the US for sale or auction or bidding or whatever the heck it is (you can tell i've never used Ebay, can't you? )
