I just got this via the Pages Bar mailing list and thought it may be of interest to some people:-

Hi All
The London Forbidden Planet are moving their store from New Oxford Street to Shaftesbury Avenue and are having an opening this Wednesday Evening.
They are looking for assistance of people in costume, Xena, Trek etc.

Actually me and a mate from work were planning a trip down there on Wednesday evening anyway, but we had no idea it was the official opening. That probably means it's gonna be packed doesn't it...?

i doubt there will be a party or anything special a birdie told me celebrities have been invited but birdie doubts thye will turn up Fp are way too stingy to throw an opening party for public attendance ... cheap bums.
