Anyone here having a long distance relationship???

I've been in a long distance relationship for the last 2 and a half years now. That special person in my life lives in the UK and I don't (NL).

We would love to see each other more often (as in every day or atleast every weekend) but finacially thats just not doable but still we get to see each other on average one weekend in the 3 with longer stretchen at halfterm x-mas and any other holidays. Last month was particulairy good as out of a 31 days we spend 13 together.

One big drawback of a long distance relationship is saying goodbye again and again and again it really hurts a lot. But you have to although you don't want to but thats life I guess :month:

Big plus is that when you get to see each other it's always planned so you actually to have time for each other which is good.

And the internet / phonecalls etc makes sure you can keep in touch with each other which is good

An update on Emma's last post.

I spent 7 hours in the car just to spend one night with her. It was worth it, just wish it could of been longer.

And now I have to wait 2 weeks until I can see her again
