do you want to interview us on our views/experiences on getting into/out of debt or on interviewing the public techniques?

Need Help with Journalism Project...
Hi people, in my journ module, I've been assigned the unenviable task of finding a story in a national paper and adapting it for the local paper (namely, the Sunderland Echo) 
. The story in question is people in Sunderland getting into (or out of) debt, such as credit card debts, etc.
But I'm not actually writing the story, as my group have to do a 15 min (5min per person) presentation on what we've done
, in terms research such as interviewing/just plain talking to (delete as applicable) people who're in debt, people who sort out debt, or just know about it...
To that end, is there anyone here who as part of experience or job description can give me any useful advice?

Right, I'm getting desperate now, could anybody with debt experience (Like credit card, loan, mortgage, etc.) step in and give me an e-mail and as a result save my eternal soul from torment in the depths of Journalism module hell? And then for presentation purposes I'll pretend you're from Sunderland? Pleeeeaaase??
