Super Powers
Ok lets say you had super powers whatever they may be. You'd probably at least have Super strength and agility and stuff. So lets say you at least have those powers as well as whatever other powers. Would you use you powers for good or evil? personally I think i'd sorta do both. I'd like to use my powers to help people and save lives sure. However it'd be cool to use them to maybe rob a bank or something too. As long as its not a crime that greatly effects and innocent person i'd probably use my power for some crime.

Well i suppose there must be a victim of some sort, but lets say I rob a cash machine. I'd do it at night when no ones about, the only people losing out would be the bank and its not like they wouldn't be insured. So they can simply claim their money back. Also it'll mean the cash machine repair man gets to work a bit of overtime and gets some extra cash for Christmas.

So what about the insurers? Who covers their losses? So your theft is spread thinly between a thousand people's premiums, that just means you're stealing one pound from each of ten thousand people, rather than 10k from one person -- there are very few victimless crimes, and no financial crimes are victimless -- just because you can't put a face on your victims dosn't stop them from existing.

dunno about superpowers, but i'd like to be able to create something magical...its that darn magic and sparkle advert, i love it! makes me wish i was a kid again! so things were magic! and things.....

Well, i wouldnt use them for evil or crime. With talents like that there'd be no need to rob a bank, people would pay to see you fly or whatever.
but if i had invisibility or something i might play a few jokes on peeps. Only ones i didnt like though.

On a serious note...
And after my last post in another thread I am glad to agree with Callum. Claims on insurance have to be paid for and that usually happens in increased premiums, which you and me pay for, not banks. Theft always creates victims. Even the theft of those notes due to be destroyed by the bank of England - the existance of illegal money in the system creates an excess, which leads to a devalueing of the currency. Which means we all lose.
On a more frivolous note...
Do evil? Well, not by my definition. Help people out put .. well .. use the powers to look after my self-interest, shall we say? Damn straight!
I can think of one or two, though you don't need super powers to do them. Although some have made people think they have super powers...
