hmm some of the comments seem to be from people with IQs of 10 or less. I understand the need for mouse control but taking pictures of the outcomes and making jokes about it isnt very tasteful.

Are they deffiantely real? I'm pretty sure they are, but who in their right mind would put that sorta stuff online? I've never had probelms with mice so I dunno what its like to have them invade your house and I dunno what action I would take, I'd probably call the council who would probably kill them in their own way or catch them I dunno. Thing is ok if people choose to get rid of mice like that ok let them, I don't particualy think its right though. But this guy must be in the head putting those pics up and laughing about it, its bloody cruel.

Honestly peeps as Acker has said don't look if you are squimish.

Anyone ever set a mousetrap because they had a mice / rat problem? Well this is the effect you get...

If it's done correctly it's very effective and they don't feel a thing. (Slam a little spike thats on the bar straight into the brain and the skull gets crushed)

And if you walk by the beach how many people do you see fishing standing on the rocks? If these people take the fish they catch home with them to eat how do you think they are killed? (if you have no clue just look at what those people are standing on) and they also take pictures of their catches...

If I had a mice problem and I would see one and I had my shoes on and I had the chance.... sure wouldn't make a picture of it to share with everyone.

I don't see this as animal cruelty to be honest.... They have no right to be where they where and what happends to them is therefor their own fault.... (same applies to burglers)

Have you ever seen how a cat plays with it's still alife food? Now tell me that isn't cruel!
Or what the effects of poision pellets is (also the fact that they will die in their shelters and weeks later you will find out where that is due to the horrible smell and the flies). Not forgetting the danger that those pellets have on small children!

And the pictures aren't that shocking (relatively speaking) when you have cats who like to 'play' with their captives.
I've seen mouse guts exposed in all sorts of bloody tableus becasue my cats like me.
I just wouldn't take pictures of it, never mind publish them on the web.

It's the publishing of pictures of it in such a public forum & then reveling in them.

Saw this on ljdrama aaaaaaaaaaaaaages ago. As what Taz said it's the comments more than the pics. Mice are vermin.

I dont object to mouse traps, i recently had to set down poison for rats. much as i love the buggers (tame ones) they cant share my land if they are wild.

However, that said, this person seems to take an unsusal interest in the mice and whats "happened" to each of them.

It is worth noting that most sociopaths begin their first forays into cruilty by experamenting on animals. I believe we have a nice shiny new sociopath in the making here.

I'm pretty sure anyone who has cats wouldn't be all that shocked by those pictures. But what's wrong with humane mouse traps? The ones that catch them alive so you can take them elsewhere. Does wonders for your conscience and it's much nicer than having to deal with the bodies.

It's not the cruelty of destroying the vermin that sickens me - deal with them as you must. It's the fact that the person has derived obvious pleasure from it that is disgusting.

What other reason would you have for taking pictures and posting detailed descriptions of the animals injuries other than to get some kind of jolly from it?

working in Boots a few years back they had mice and brought professionals in to get rid of them except their idea of humane trapping was glue paper one of which i found had gone on to it and in its desperate painful attempt of escaping had gotten it's bottom jaw glued and in the struggle tore it's jaw off, i cried at the sight of it and had to listen to it's cries while it slowly died because the gits at work left it in a box in the back room. humane traps should be made just that, humane. quick and painless if it's possible.

i'd much rather that was done but it wont be there is nowhere for companies to set the mices free into the wilderness it much easier for them to kill the blighters and toss them in a bin/incinarator.

agreed! These are the kind of narrow-minded people who will probably progress onto doing harming animals in other ways "just to see how they react"

I can still never understand why people strap fireworks to animals or take an air rifle to them. There are definitely some sick individuals out there (except maybe they are on that LJ entry!!)
