hot, although sometimes i do like cold meat. SOmetimes i find it too dry cold
Hot or cold?
I'm talking about your roast with Sunday dinner, of course!
Just wondered if people prefered their meat (no jokes please ) hot or cold?
If you're wondering why, after a disscussion with several people this week, I thought it might be a regional thing, but have come to the conclusion that you get used to however your mum used to make it!
I never have Sunday dinners anyway (well not unless I go back to mums for tea!) I was just curious. Please humour me and let me know?

Has to be hot ..... although I have been known to take the left over leg of lamb out of the fridge and eat it off the bone
My nan usually has cold meat but with hot gravy.. takes a bit of getting used to.. I prefer it hot when it's like that, but if it's in a sarnie, I don't mind it cold
generally hot..but sometimes i like beef and chicken cold
Well, I'm a veggie so I can't speak from personal experience but I do cook for Other Half and son, in which case I serve meat hottish, cos you're supposed to leave it to stand for at least 10 minutes after it's come out of the oven. I imagine that that would make it warm rather than hot.
Its gotta be hot for me all though the "mother in Law" does chicken and turkey cold its just odd and not right to me! If your having a hot dinner (to which a 'roast' sugests) you should have hot meat! I find that cold meat ruins the goodness

Have to agree with the majority on here If it is a roast dinner the meat is much better hot (well after it has rested)
For sandwiches I did get into Roast Beef sandwiches for lunch when I worked in London & the beef was hot & yummy!
Normally though my sandwiches contain cold meat.

Before I was veggie it was definately hot met. It justs tastes better hot. Although I was often guilty of picking at the cold meat afterwards.
