I'm glad there are restrictions for what you can name your child, here in the Netherlands...
Jon 2.0 - Techie going wild?
Since a little while USA TV / and UK SKY viewers have been able to view the new TV series Jake 2.0
But is 2.0 now becoming a common tracking for a boys name?
Source: CNN
Tacking Jr. or II onto a boy's name is too common, a new father decided, so the self-described engineering geek took a software approach to naming his newborn son.
"I wrote in the birth announcement e-mail stuff, like there's a lot of features from version 1.0 with additional features from Jamie," Jon Cusack said.
The big questions here is of course what will happen with kids name after he had some form of hospital threatment? Will they change this name to Jon Blake 2.1, or is that the name reserved for his kids?
She said she had "picked out the theme of the baby's room and done other things. I decided to let Jon have this."
I think that this kid will later wish his mum had more of a backbone as who lets their husband do something like that?

An ex-colleague of mine tried and failed to persuade his wife to give their new daughter the middle name Dorothy so her name would be Josephine (?) Dot Dallas...
Well, I don't know the exact details, but you're not allowed to just give your kid any name you think of.

I'd like my first born, boy or girl, to be called Chewbacca. It has such a nice ring to it
You can only do that if you change your own surname by deedpoll to Wookiee. I have spoken.
