I dressed as a male gangster once. That was funky.
dress as the opposite sex
Just wondered who has dressed as the opposite sex here and what it felt like. I dressed as a woman once and it was sorta nice cuz it was much easier to go for a pee. I kinda see why the scots wear kilts.

I seem to have done it far too often... It can be fun though! Depending on what type of outfit you go for it can either be very free-flowing and liberating or very tight and constrictive. But I think for the most part I'll just keep the make-up from now on...
The image of you as Lara Croft at End of Days is still etched in my memory: especially as, only a short while previously, I'd interviewed Ian Livingstone at Eidos who'd commented that many people dressed as Lara Croft but quite a few shouldn't!
Well, women in drag is damned sexy, imho - see Marlene Dietrich in a top hat and tails. My mum likes it too, and has occasionally dressed that way for plays and stuff. I am busy amassing waistcoats, baker hats and the like so I can do drag a bit better. Now all I need are some decent wide-collared shirts.... and better trousers, but that's another story...
I like birds dressed in top hat and tails too actually. I like men in womens clothing too. My hottest male friend is a guy called Belle and he looks better in heels than any woman i know
To me drag isn't really a sexy thing. Even Alicia Silverstone and Liv Tyler in that Aerosmith video where they dress up in suits to go to the strip club. They're both gorgeous girls, but in drag... it just doesn't do it for me. Give me them as Cher and Arwen any day! Please...
So, drag is not sexy. But androgyny is a different matter...

not dressed as a man no...not to my knowledge anyhow! i mean, i guess my baggy pants/t-shirt combos could be seen as pretty unisex clothing...
but never done it as a concious decision like...
i'm far too girly to try pass myself off as a man

I don't know if it counts, but I did the early 80's Goth thing which involved lots of sharing of clothes and (lots of) makeup with my girlfriend of the time. Lots of fun, and she said she found it very sexy us looking/dressing similar(ly). I'd better not go into detail here, though, but you get the picture.
I don't think I could pull it off over 20 years on, but it was a huge laugh because the world was a different, much less tolerant, place back then and we got into some great scrapes with middle-aged men who were shocked by our appearance and who couldn't decide if we were "queers" or "lesbians"!!! Maybe they couldn't tell I was a fella - particularly if I was wearing a kilt or skirt over leather strides.

First of all we do not wear kilts because it's easier to pee

Secondly my 'experience' as Britney was more than enough for me..I'll just stick to blokes clothes I think.
And probably enough for everyone else

so why do you wear them? I'm sure I heard that originally they were worn so you could pee while in battle easily or something

I don't think anyone knows exactly why Scotsmen wore kilts..presumably because there was very little fabric around then, a kilt doesn't restrict movement of the legs so running into battle was easier than wearing trousers of the day. They were banned for a long time as the English Kings found highland dress stirred up to many nationalistic feelings which led to rebellions.

Why do I wear a kilt is probably the next question. 1 it's a way of honouring my ancestors, 2 I have to wear trousers and a shirt to work everyday so if I'm going to a function and want to dress up a kilt is an excellent option and 3 the ladies love them
They do?

and 3 the ladies love them
And before you come back with a comment about me not being a lady
The last time I wore a kilt in your presence you tried to stick your hand up it and cop a sneaky feel about four times.

Have I ever seen you in a kilt? Where? Was I drunk?
