Blimey, I didn't even know she had cancer. And, yeah, she's from my generation too. Around the same time as Yvette Fielding if I recall correctly.

Bloody hell! that's shocking... Caron, Yvette and Mark Curry were the presenters of Blue Peter when I used to watch it and enjoy it as a kid. I didn't even know she had cancer

This was such a shock. I remember watching her on TV too. She left behind two young boys aged 9 and 7. I don't think anyone outside immediate family and close friends knew that she was ill. Such a shame at such a young age.

Woah man, I used to watch Blue Peter when she was on it too, she was only young. Was her Mum Gloria Hunnyford?

Yup

I didn't know she was ill either. She presented Blue Peter in "my" time, and have a lot of fond memories of the old shows.
