Techie Type Question...
I want to get on a site that i have on my favourite menu and i visit regularly. Up til yesterday i had no problems accessing the site, now i can't. When i try to, i get a DNS error. Just talked to a couple of friends and they can get on the site no problems... so why can't I?.. i'm absolutely puzzled by this. It's suggested that i may have to adjust my browser settings, but of course i don't have any real idea of how to do this (so, what's new)...
Can anyone help?
Incidentally the site i want to access is www.kryptonsite.com
ETA: Why the heck would a link to the Kryptonsite site take me to the T21 Front page?
Or alternatively, you could do me a huge favour and click on the link and see where it takes you?

Ha!, i knew i'd done something wrong, thanks for that... and i still get a DNS error... anyone else get it?

Then why won't it open for me?, why do i get a DNS error when 24 hours ago it worked perfectly okay for me and now it won't?... anyone have any ideas?

normally i'd say that it was your connection causeing problems (something that's been affecting my home connection of late - we have to keep resetting out DNS numbers of soemthing) but i'd have thought that would affect all teh sites you wanted to access. sorry i can't be much help

Well stranger things have happened... just logged in there with no problems... Wonder why it's letting me log in now and not before when everyone else could but me... would anyone have an explanation about why that would happen?

There have been some DNS issues with the internet at large over the past couple of days.
It seems to have affect different ISPs at different times and in different ways, but I was still taking calls this afternoon and it was obvious that some areas where still affected.
Sit tight and it will probably get sorted before too long.

Thanks for that advice GS because guess what... can't get on the site again... this is beyond annoying, but at least it isn't my computer.. it also happens at the Media Blvd site and at the same times that i can't get onto the Kryptonsite site..

Just spoken to my ISP providers... and there seems to be a problem with my BT line, so i'm waiting to hear from a BT engineer hopefully on Monday... my BB connection isn't fast enough which could explain the problems i've been having (and my ISP have been kind enough to refund us 2 months of BB payments as a result which was completely unexpected and very nice of them).
