The train takes about 2 hours and leaves from Euston. With a Young Persons Railcard it costs about £23 for an open return, without a railcard I'm guessing somewhere in the region of £30-35. And you could probably get it cheaper if you booked in advance.
London to Birmingham
Kinda a question for the T-Party people travelling from London, how long does it take to get to Birmingham from London on the train, and how much does it cost approximately?

hey hon,
There is a saver deal on silverlink trains that will cost you 15 quid. I takes about 2.5 hours and goes from Marleybone(cannot spell- am being lazy)to Snow Hill station in the centre of Brum, you have to travel after 10 though restricted but little known service
hope it helps
