Sounds stupid but have you put after sun on it? I got badly sunburnt last week (even though I had sun cream on) and it really helped. Stay out of the sun and it should go down within 2-3 days.

Im like the most after sunned person in all of after sun land, its just all ouchy and im really impatient hehe! All my own fault though! x

I got sunburnt yesterday too. Applied after-sun about 3 times last night and it's already gone down (not that so much application is necessarily needed - but it helped cool me).

when i was in portugal many years ago on holiday, when i was just about 8 or 9, i got really badly sunburnt. this old lady advised my parents to put like plain yoghurt on the sunburn as it really helps cool it down, especially if its painful
now as far as i can remember it worked, but damn! i couldn't move with yoghurt all over me. my parents were damn lucky i was a nice well behaved kid, otherwise im sure they would've gone through hell! lol

I always seem to get myself sunburnt. But I'm too disorganised/forgetful to regularly apply aftersun lotion, so I normally have to just live with it until it goes down of it's own accord...

after sun is supposed to be the ebst thing, but also you're supposed to drink lots and ltos of water (I think)

Today I discovered that clothes hurt...ALOT, especially bras! I do this EVERY year! the after sun doesnt seem to be helping at all so im just a big lobster still, oh well im sure it'll teach me...until next time! x

What about a cool bath..not cold, just cool, that should take away some of the sting/heat

I'm quite fair skinned so burn quite easily, I've found Nivea after-sun (in a light blue bottle) works best for me.

And Spike is right drink LOTS of water to keep yourself hydrated and help the skin get its moisture back to prevent cracking and peeling.
