aha you tricked me by starting a new thread. If things had gone right we would have been 2-1 as I said

I'm not sure my initial thoughts could be posted anywhere.

Needless to say I hadn't thought Beckham had played well and I was hoping he would be subbed towards the end of the match.

Of course the dreaded mention of penalities had in my heart meant that we would already lose - and Becks proved me right.

Well done to the other lads, good on Owen for keeping us ahead. Bad luck to Campbell who had been man of the second half for me (hadn't seen the first half
