Wednesday is Chat night!
You may have noticed that chat has got a bit quiet of late, or maybe not if you havent been in for a while!
We know what its like, its quiet, so people dont come, or come and dont stay, which makes it quieter!
So lets have an official 'chat' evening every Wednesday. (starting Nov 10th) Drop in after 8 if you can and maximise your chances of bumping into old friends!
Trivia will be availble if people want it, or we can just chew the fat, or the tofu for the health conscious!

I come in, once in a while. I'll do my best to come on (if the mother hasn't nabbed the computer). So I'll maybe see the geeks there

My own PC is direly in need of a new motherboard and/or power supply at the mo, so I can't chat this Wednesday, or the next one (even tho it might be fixed then, I'll be at home for the week, so no 'net). But me looks forward to walking into chat with somebody else actually being there (besides Wo at close to 1am, natch 
)

I hafta use the one in the site as mirc doesn't like me, so I don't come in often as I hafta remember not to keep shutting the windows down (which I often do when I'm just chatting 
).

After much confusion I finally noticed the link to the chat room on the home page, lol.
I was just wondering if it is possible to connect to the chat room through mIRC? If so, how? And also does anyone have a reg code because my version isn't registered and will cease working in 30 days!
It's been about 3 years since I last used mIRC, and I'm a newbie so forgive my incompetence!

I tried to get into the chat room through the site tonite & it kept saying the following in the screen:
###### Unregistered copy, evaluation only
###### Please ask webmaster to register it

irc.tangent.com = the server addy
#tangent21 = the channel
And the 30 day trial version should keep working after the 30 days, mine does even tho i have a registration code...i can just never be othered to put it in

Me + Kitty should be back online fairly shortly. A friend of ours is moving down the street from us and we're setting up a wireless connection (with some aerials pointing out our windows) and we're gonna share a broadband connection. At least...that's the plan! So we'll come and chat then.
I also think that T21 should tout for new blood as that is what is needed to revitalise the site I think.
