"to do with a fair bit of time in the gym, copious amounts of body hair and some rather disgusting eating habits"
Tis from Due South. Season 2, the episode Letting Go, I think. Benton Fraser is describing how he got a scar.

Keen-angel... no hard "g" required
by Vix
And while we're on the subject of pronounciations - Keenangel - is that Keen-angel, or Keenan-gel (with a hard 'g')?

More specifically, there was an incident at N3K last year when I fell asleep at our table and missed Joss Whedon wandering over.
You know, until I read this I always thought it had something to do with the Mary Whitehouse Experience!

Okay when I was at university our whole course went out for a sort of getting-to-know-each-other drinking session. After a lot of drink we started calling everyone by nick-names..one guy got Sampras for looking a bit like Pete, another got Banjo as that was a nickname he'd been given years earlier.
Being the youngest one there (only 17) I hadn't really done as much drinking as the others before(yeah right)and as such i didn't drink pints of lager as they made me feel bloated. So I was sitting drinking my bottle of lager when someone asked what I was drinking I just said "bottle", someone turned round and said "look at the baby with his bottle..are you drinking milk?"..this then went on to become Milky the nickname I've used for 7 years.
Variations I use on the net are Millky and MilkyNo1 depending on whether Milky is available.

If your hair *was* the right colour surely you'd have no problems finding unattached girls? Or ones that would just leave their attachements *ahem*

Well now... it happened like this:
Back in 1988/9, when I was engaged to a witch, most of the circle of people I was involved with had adopted 'true' names, which we used as private nicknames and occasionally during rituals. For example, my ex called herself Noone - put a hyphen in between the Os and you get her view of herself. Sad woman. Her brother called himself Iruv - short for infra red / ultra violet, which was meant to express... well, I'm not sure what it expressed, except the first time I met him he stood on one leg for 40 minutes, motionless, staring at a lightbulb, which probably says more about him than his choice of name ever could.
Anyway, I picked Random.
I did it partly because I liked having a name that suggested
unpredictability, untrustworthiness and a certain shifty rogueishness (it's not for nothing that one of my main e-mail addresses is andy@artfuldodger.co.uk). I love that whole character-type - the dashing but sinister Mills and Boon villain, the sort of character Adam Ant loved dressing up as, the sort you'd cast Alan Rickman to play in the movie. (Remember my profile photo on BuffyUK? Evil.)
But the main reason I picked it was because, well, for exactly the reason your friend spotted... and he's picked a good quote, too. I lifted it from the character Random in Zelazny's Chronicles of Amber, who is an unpredictable, untrustworthy, shifty rogue - right up until the moment he proves to be the most noble at heart of any of them and is made king.
