RIP Tommy Vance
Personally, he was the sound of my teenage years, and while my musical tastes have .. developed a little since then, he's always had a special place in my heart. Personally I'll miss him, and that gravelly voice - the sound of true RAWK!!!

I had no idea! He was indeed a legend. Anything he did you'd always instantly recognise him. He was cool! 
Voice-overs on popular music programmes will never be the same again... But the tannoy announcements in heaven just got a whole lot cooler!
